Fishing and Flight Seeing

A 45min drive from Twizel, the Tekapo River, arguably the best Central South Island fishing river, supports a high number of trout and salmon. Tekapo, Twizel, and Glentanner Park all offer flight-seeing tours in a choice of helicopter or fixed wing plane.
